Our founder has had a passion for fashion for as long as she can remember. Making dresses and shirts for herself and her dolls was how she spent her free time. She was especially proud of the wine color wrap skirt she made in 7th grade home economics class. It was practically perfect and fit like a glove. Since these early days, fashion design and couture dressmaking have become her life’s work. Over 40 years later, she continues to learn, explore new opportunities, and help brides find the dresses of their dreams.
In 2001, our founder read the book Vera Wang on Weddings, and her love for the bridal world was born. She was obsessed with the book, Vera’s collection, and all things bridal from that point on. To this day, this book resides on her coffee table, and she returns to it frequently for inspiration.
Our Mission
At Sew Pretty Bridal Studio, our mission is to help brides find their dream gown and provide alterations to create a perfect fit. Every component of a wedding gown deserves equal attention as well as the overall appearance. A brides wedding gown is personalized to her physique, beauty and personality and we honor their ideas.
